A Sunday at Cockatoo was a relaxing day held at our Cellar Door in Tanunda and was enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Barossa Country Kitchens catered the afternoon with a delicious meal of Baby Fillet Steak, Chicken and Veggie Kebabs, Thai Chicken Tenderloins and Traditional Sausages with a large varietal salad buffet. Our entire Cockatoo Ridge Wines were available per glass or bottle, which gave our guests a chance to not only try all our wines, but to sit back and enjoy a glass… or two.

We were entertained all afternoon with young local talents, Emily Neldner, Gareth Gann and Thomas Kowald, who are a local three piece acoustic band. They were a great attribute to the day, and sounded fantastic! All guests appreciated their presence, and gave plenty of positive feedback.

The weather was very kind, almost a little too warm, with lots of sunshine above, it was beautiful addition to the prime location of our Cellar Door and the surrounding picturesque vineyards. The day was a huge success and was enjoyed by all! A huge thank you to all that came, and we all look forward to your company for following events.
